Exam & Key Stage Results

About the results

Pupils are ‘meeting the expected standard’ if they achieve a ‘scaled score’ of 100 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assesses them as ‘working at the expected standard’ in writing.

Pupils are ‘achieving at a higher standard’ if they achieve a ‘scaled score’ of 110 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assesses them as ‘working at a greater depth within the expected standard’ in writing.

The government will not publish KS2 school-level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. However, we have published our percentages for pupils below for your information. The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

Progress scores

The scores are calculated by comparing the Key Stage 2 test and assessment results of pupils at this school with the results of pupils in schools across England who started with similar assessment results at the end of the previous key stage – Key Stage 1.

A score above zero means pupils made more progress, on average than pupils across England who got similar results at the end of Key Stage 1. A score below zero means pupils made less progress, on average than pupils across England who got similar results at the end of Key Stage 1.
