Principal's Welcome

Norwich Primary Academy is one of the largest primaries in Norwich with about 350 children. 

We have two classes per year from Reception to Year 6. We provide a knowledge-rich curriculum and aim for the best results for children.

Our curriculum is designed to engage the children, with a clear focus on English and maths. To support children when learning to read, we teach phonics through the Read Write Inc programme, which gives them a strong foundation from which to understand text. 

We offer an extended day for Years 3 to 6, providing free enrichment activities for children from the end of the school day through to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday. These include cookery, music tuition, history club, drama, fun science, dance, football, and more.

We have a large site with a huge outside area - including woodland for investigating the outside environment, a playing field for games, and lots of play equipment for fun at break and lunch.
